You’ve done it again by rendering another great video/commentary that is actually true. I got a good laugh, though. Majority of women actually think that getting plastic surgery to better their looks will somehow raise their self-esteem. It’s an embarrassment to say the least, and simply fatuous to even believe such trash. Women who alter their looks via plastic surgery are pathetic — and has no self-esteem nor slef-respect after the fact. Again, GREAT piece.

THANK YOU about the self-affirmation garbage @ 5:00. That’s like hearing confirmation that the emperor is not wearing any clothes. One of my instructors in the mental health counseling program had me write affirmations on my bathroom mirror with an erasable marker after I told her that saying them just made me feel silly.
The doormat thing may be a bit more difficult for some (damaged) people than you made it sound, though. Of course, you only had 10 minutes for all of that.

That was excellent. If only mothers could teach their daughter about the rewards of self-respect through hard work and honest-to-goodness character building we could live in a society where women truly are equals, not just propped up as equals by the law and pop culture. Other than my mother and aunt, who are geologist and engineers, respectively, I don’t believe I’ve met a woman who has adhered to the principles pointed out in this video. The big question is- Is there anything we can do?

I really wasn’t offended, at all. And I really would like a perfect product, but short of a sound studio that won’t happen. I can’t read a 10 minute script without a mistake.
Just the same, including you, I have only ever heard two complaints about the problem, and never from a person critical of the content. So in the end, I will just keep doing my best and sending them out.

Man I hate plastic surgery. Those women who slice themselves up (including cutting off their labia… WTF), like you say show only vanity and not self esteem. Hideous frozen faces are becoming so common now – and even men are getting it done too. And whats more, these women who do it never feel happy, they continue to fritter money (usually not theirs) away on hitching up yet another piece of skin.
