Approval Seeking and Low Self Esteem
Someone came to me and cried “I’m not being appreciated whatever I do the boss doesn’t like me and puts me down.” He was very frustrated about it and I told him the problem was not his boss’s problem the problem was his problem. First he suffers from low self esteem and second problem is approval seeking. Approval seeking behavior sets up very bad expectations and you won’t be happy at all.
